We recently did a survey of Philips air purifiers. We studied the technology used in making the products, the features offered and the aesthetic appeal. We then ranked them based on their score and compiled a list of the top Philips air purifiers. Here is the list. Hope you find it useful.

3. Philips 3000 Series AC3256/20 60-Watt AeraSense Air Purifier
At third place is the Philips 3000 Series AC3256/20 AeraSense air purifier. It is designed for very large spaces and can cover an area of up to 818ft2. It has a CADR of 376m3/h and is best suited for spacious halls and living rooms.
The Philips 3000 Series AC3256/20 is engineered with VitaShield Intelligent Purification System technology (IPS), Philip’s in-house innovation. It uses NanoProtect S3 filters to capture disease-causing particles. The filtration process involves a pre filter, an activated carbon layer and 2 HEPA filters.
The pre filter does the preliminary filtration. It removes coarse particles like pollen, dust mites, pet dander, hair and lint. Second is the activated carbon layer. 4. Philips 2000 Series AC2882/20 56-Watt Air Purifier
The next top-performing Philips air purifier is the 2000 Series AC2882/20. It is quite similar in make to the 2000 Series AeraSense AC2887/20 air purifier discussed already. The difference lies in their coverage areas and CADRs. The coverage area and CADR of the AC2882/20 is 409ft2 and 324m3/h, respectively. Both values are slightly less than that of the AC2887/20, the leading product. In all other respects, they are roughly the same.
The Philips 2000 Series AC2882/20 air purifier is fitted with a NanoProtect HEPA filter with VitaShield IPS technology. It removes up to 99.9% bacteria and viruses. Our next product is the Philips 1000 Series NightSense AC1211/20. It is similar in many aspects with the Philips 1000 Series AC1215/20 air purifier discussed here at number 2. The difference lies in their coverage areas and CADR. The coverage area and CADR of the AC1211/20 air purifier is 645 ft2 and 260 m3/h, respectively. Both values are slightly less than that of the previous model AC1215/20. The other specifications are roughly the same with minute variations here and there.
The AC1211/20 Philips air purifier has whisper-quiet 33 dB operation. It has an intelligent NightSense mode that gets activated as soon as you turn off the lights.
